A young girl named Ruka, who had been living a wandering life in Osaka, is taken in by Fumi, an elementary school teacher. Later, Ruka spends time in Obihiro, Hokkaido, with Natsuhiko, who was her sister's lover, and forms a friendship with a high school girl named Maori. However, the fate that awaits her is always harsh. After arriving in Tokyo, Ruka becomes a musician and begins singing on the streets under the name Kyrie. There, she reunites with Maori, who now goes by the name Ikko and survives in Tokyo through her ever-changing cosplay and relationships with men. From Ishinomaki, Osaka, and Obihiro to Tokyo—Ruka, while being tossed about by fate, weaves a grand lyrical poem through her determined life.

The film "Summer Solstice Story" was produced in 1992. Now, with Aina The End as the new heroine, director Shunji Iwai himself takes on the task of remaking it. Through his unique style, characterized by the heavy use of monologues, the story depicts a summer day filled with love and madness as a girl awaits the return of her beloved.

Born in Osaka, Aina the End has a natural husky voice and unique expressions. In 2021, she released her first album "THE END," featuring entirely self-written and composed songs, marking the beginning of her solo career. In June 2023, she left BiSH, and is currently active as a solo artist. In 2022, she took on the lead role of Janis Joplin in the first-ever Japanese production of the Broadway musical "Janis." In October 2023, she made her film debut as the lead in the movie "Kirie no Uta," directed by Shunji Iwai. In the film, she not only performed as an actress but also wrote lyrics and composed songs, releasing an album titled "DEBUT" under the name "Kyrie." In January 2024, she held their first solo live performance since leaving BiSH at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, with tickets selling out the day they went on sale. From March 2024, she embarked on a solo tour titled "Grow The Sunset."
