The main heroine lives in a tiny apartment with her elderly mother and young son. To support her family, she has to work hard, leaving her with almost no time for a personal life. Her friend, a housekeeper in a wealthy family, invites her to a gathering at her fiancé’s friends’ place, hoping to cheer her up a little.
Boris works as a medical officer in a private clinic specializing in plastic surgery. As Boris prepares to leave the city, he bumps into Oleg and his friend Katya who are carrying Ilya's body to their car. Convinced that the doctor played a part in Ilya's death and is now trying to cover his tracks, Boris returns to the hospital determined to discover the truth.
