Ashwin started his professional acting career at the age of 10 when he appeared as Edmund Woodward in the Dodger Easter Special. That year, he voiced many animated characters including those in Pip and Posy, Smeds and Smoos as well as Brave Bunnies. In January 2023 Ashwin flew to Toronto to appear as a series regular in The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh for Amazon Prime. Since then, he has made his debut stage appearance at The National Theatre as Bill in Dear Octopus, filmed his first feature and appeared as a new regular character in the CBBC hit series Lagging.
