Based on a book by Alexis Krasilovsky, the film tells the stories of camerawomen surviving the odds in Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Iran, Mexico, the U.S. and other countries, as well as exploring their individual visions.
Celiana Cárdenas is a film and television cinematographer born in México City. She has a Bachelors Degree in Cinematography from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC). She lived in Los Angeles, California from 1994 to 2001 and earned a Masters Degree in the Painting with Light program from UCLA. She currently splits her time between Canada and México.
