Sankara Narayanan always hears incessant voices in his head and he gets admitted in a mental asylum. A doctor tries to reunite him with his family by curing his mental illness.
The four chapters of the film tell stories, which are independent of each other. The only connection between them is the recurring theme of crime. With the flow of the movie, there is an increase in the complexity of the crimes.
The story follows Kizhakkethil Sundaresan (Dileep), a grocery store owner who never attended college, who is married to Radhamani (Navya Nair), a M.Sc. graduate. When Radhamani gets a job in Thiruvananthapuram Secretariat, she is excited and wants to move to be closer to her position. However, Sundaresan cannot close his store and go with her, nor does he want Radhamani to go alone. In the argument that follows, Radhamani decides that she will go at any cost, and Sundaresan decides to go with her.
Vindhyan (Jagadish) an unemployed countryside man, is in love with his childhood friend and cousin Neelima (Mahima) who is now in the US. His uncle and Neelima's father, Rajappan Nair (Rajan P Dev) who is a wealthy businessman promises Vindhyan that he will get both of them married. However Neelima is in love with Shivapal (Saikumar) whom she meets in the US. On her return, an astrologer (Narendra Prasad) predicts that her first husband will get killed a few days into their marriage. Neelima decides to marry Vindhyan so that he will end up dead as her first husband. With the help of Shivapal and her mother Padmavathi (Ponnamma Babu), Neelima tries many tricks to get Vindhyan killed.

He was brought in to the film industry by noted director Aravindan in his work Oridathu (1986). He has since acted in close to a 100 movies and was also active in the Malayalam TV industry.
