Ryūmonji Seigō (Hitoshi Ozawa), leader of the Ryūmonji Clan and known as the 'Immortal Dragon,' occasionally leaves the yakuza world to run a coffee shop, helping troubled locals. When former cop Kakuta (Hiroyuki Watanabe) asks for help with a wire fraud case, Ryūmonji entrusts his men, including Kanbara (Yasukaze Motomiya), to deal with the criminals. However, a drug deal within the family is exposed, and Ryūmonji works to resolve it. 2nd film in the '任侠哀歌' trilogy. Kurosaki Ken (Namioka Kazuki) burns with a desire for revenge after his father was killed by the Kiryu-kai. With Ken's declaration, Mikitani's scheme became public and the Kiryu Clan disown him. In order to split the Kiryu Clan and set his revenge in motion, Ken first assassinates Kawashima (Fujiwara Yoshiaki). Mikitani mistakenly believed that Kawashima's assassination was the work of Sagawa (Motomiya Yasukaze), and hid from the Kiryu Clan with aims to capture Sagawa. However, Sagawa saw through Ken's scheme and instead uses Mikitani in an attempt to kill him. Kurosaki Ken (Namioka Kazuki), the son of Saijo Fund executive Kurosaki Hiroshi (Akai Hidekazu), gets caught up in a dispute between the Sagawa and Kawashima groups, both of which are affiliated with the yakuza organization Kiryu-kai, and is captured by the Sagawa gang along with his friends Ando Tatsuya (Kitadai Takashi) and Hanamaki Daisuke (Isaka Tatsuya). Just as they are about to be killed, Ken's father Hiroshi saves the three. After being persuaded by Hiroshi, the three swear to reform, but Tatsuya is tricked by Mikitani of the Kawashima gang and is nearly killed. Ken accidentally shoots Mikitani while trying to stop him, and is arrested and sentenced to 5 years for attempted murder. While in custody, his father appears to commits suicide and Ken becomes consumed with guilt and doubts about the veracity of his father's murder. The largest yakuza organization in Kansai, the Tenma-kai, has broken the agreement and begun advancing into Kanto. Enomoto (Yasukaze Motomiya), the assistant underboss of the Takeda Family in Kanto, is approached by the Tenma-kai with an offer to join them, but he refuses. However, due to a scheme by the Tenma-kai, the Takeda Family’s boss, Takeda Masaki (Nishioka Tokuma), is suddenly arrested on charges of extortion. Additionally, the family’s underboss, Miyamura (Jiro Okazaki), is ambushed and murdered. Enomoto suspects there might be a traitor within the family and begins an independent investigation. The Tenma-kai, a Kansai yakuza organization, has been eagerly eyeing an expansion into Kanto, breaking the long-standing agreement between the two regions.
