The film looks at his life and career using archive footage and featuring revealing interviews with the man, as well as those who knew him well; friends, family and competitors. It also shows how the Ayrton Senna Foundation, set up in his honor, is working to help under privileged and street-bound children in his native Brazil using sport as an incentive to learn. Patrick Faure, born in 1946 in France, is a respected French businessman known for his long-standing career at Renault and his influence in the world of Formula 1. He joined Renault in the early 1970s, progressing through various roles until he became head of the company's motorsport division in the late 1990s. As President of Renault Sport, Faure was instrumental in Renault’s return to Formula 1 as a fully integrated team, following the acquisition of the Benetton team in 2000. Under Faure’s leadership, Renault quickly rose to prominence, culminating in two consecutive Drivers' and Constructors' Championships with Fernando Alonso in 2005 and 2006.
